ROCKS PROGRAM
MEETING DESCRIPTION
The inaugural Robotic Orthopaedic Concepts & Knowledge Symposium (ROCKS) being held September 26 – 28, 2024 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio, is a cutting-edge event designed to ROCK the field of arthroplasty robotics by bringing together experts and enthusiasts in robotic technology inclusive of manufacturers, joint reconstruction surgeons, insurers and healthcare administrators. The meeting features a world-class faculty of thought-leaders presenting a focused program of contemporary hip and knee joint pathologies where robotic-assisted arthroplasty provides an effective reconstructive solution.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
ROCKS will:
- Foster an innovative learning program for orthopaedic surgeons, trainees, insurers and healthcare administrators.
- Provide insight from contemporary thought-leaders into the use of robotic technology in adult joint reconstruction.
- Expose meeting participants to various robotic technologies through the exhibit floor and bioskills training sessions.
- Engage meeting participants with the faculty experts through didactic sessions and exhibit hall food functions.
- Promote networking opportunities for the implementation of robots in healthcare system facilities.
- Deliver a unique, single-setting exposure that promotes assessment of the clinical, business and logistical aspects of integrating robotic technologies into an arthroplasty practice and their impact on optimizing patient outcomes.
2-HOUR BIOSKILLS TRAINING SESSIONS
With ROCKS being a cutting-edge event designed to ROCK the field of arthroplasty robotics, there are 5 dedicated, 2-hour Bioskills Training Sessions that include a didactic presentation followed by hands-on training. These unique, corporate-sponsored opportunities provide ROCKS participants surgeon-led exposure to the latest robotic technologies in hip and knee arthroplasty in a small group setting.
